Cabela's Hybrid Hunter 2-in-1 Pack

As hunting conditions change, so does the amount of gear you need to be comfortable and successful in the field. Finally, here’s a pack that changes along with your needs, so you’ll never have to worry about having excessive pack space or, worse yet, not enough. At the heart of this system is a spacious fanny pack (1,050 cubic inches), loaded with convenience features designed just for hunters. The injection-molded contoured back panel delivers maximum comfort and lumbar support when packing heavy loads. And the adjustable, detachable shoulder harness is fully padded and equipped with a Buddy-Lok attachment system. In addition to the large main compartment, which easily holds a full day’s gear, the fanny pack has two zippered pockets, a knife pocket, an interior organizing panel and a water-bottle pocket (20-ounce water bottle included). For hunts when you need even more gear and water, we also included a detachable pack (1,150 cubic inches) that locks onto the shoulder harness. The hydration-compatible pack has a spacious main compartment, two small outer pockets and a zippered, 10"W x 6"H x 2"D exterior pocket. When not in use, it can be rolled down and secured on top of the fanny pack or folded over to form a compression pod for securing an extra jacket. Both the pack and fanny pack are constructed of Cabela’s-exclusive CT450 Plus, a rugged, super-soft material that remains quiet even in bitterly cold temperatures. Have your most-needed gear items within easy reach and ready to use with the Buddy-Lok System. To attach one or more of the accessory pouches (sold separately) to your pack, simply interlock the male end of the Buddy-Lok accessory to the female end on the pack and twist 90 degrees. Imported.

I bought this pack specifically for turkey hunting. It met my needs and was a great purchase for the price. I would say that the pack wore a bit weird when the strap across the waist wasn't connected.

One pack for all seasons

I had my Hybrid Hunter for at least five years and couldnt imagine hunting without it on my back.Im mainly an archery hunter here In California and the pack carries everything and more that I might need to persue mule deer,wild boar, turkeys ,and black bears.Scent control is a big part of archery hunting and the Hybrid Hunter has plenty of pockets for an extra set of clothing and all my bottles of scent control,not to mention the huge water bladder that comes with the pack.When I pull the pack on I know its time to hunt and often times forget its on my back.Thanks Cabelas for makeing a light weight ,durable pack that perfect for any season.

I purchased this pack for an Elk Hunt this year, the pack seems to be good quality and just what I was looking for the true test will be in Sept in Idaho.

I purchased this pack last year before deer season and had the opportunity to use it on 2 deer hunts, a late season elk hunt, and an ibex hunt. All the compartments are great, lots of room and well thought out design for one day excursions. The fabric is relatively quite and I had no problems with zipper noise. The only problem I have with the pack is that it will not adjust small enough to fit me around the waist. I'm 6' tall, 180lbs, and have a 31" waist and I was never able to get the waist belt small enough. My uncle has the exact same pack and no problems, but he has a 35" waist. Bottom line great pack, just not for my build
