THIS WORKS REALLY WELL. I CHOOSE TO NOT LOCK IT ONTO THE OUTSIDE OF THE BACK PACK, WHICH CAN BE DONE WITH THE BUDDY LOCK SYSTEM. I PUT IT INSIDE ONE OF THE ZIPPER POCKETS. KEEPS THE KNIFE AND FLASHLIGHT FROM KNOCKING AROUND INSIDE THE PACK. GREAT LITTLE DEVICE, WELL MADE AND THE PRICE IS CERTAINLY RIGHT.

Good for my knives

I collect knives and carry at least two with me at all times. I use this product to carry two different knives on me. I would like it to be a bit heavier in construction, but at present it does exactly what I need it to do, and the price was right. I would certainly buy another one, and would advise any/all outdoorsmen/women to get one for themselves!
