From the triple-stitched seams boasting the durability of Aramid thread, to the DuPont™ Kevlar® bartacking and Hypalon® panels at all major stress points, redesigned Badlands packs are engineered for hunters who need equipment that can handle everything they put it through. The KX032 fabric combines an ultrastrong nylon foundation with a waterproof urethane shell for superior protection from wet weather, while remaining quiet for true hunting performance. The 2200 Day Pack has an internal T-6 aluminum frame that distributes weight evenly across the shoulders and hips. An upgraded suspension system offers silent shock absorption for unparalleled comfort on long hikes or stalks. The split waistbelt surrounds your hips for maximum comfort. Batwing construction holds a tripod, shooting sticks or spotting scope securely, while the nylon compression straps make it easy to lash a bow to the back of the pack. Additional pouch on the back with a zipper for fast access to critical items and an additional pocket for more storage. When you need to pack out meat, just pull the blaze orange compression pod out of its pocket, and your loading capabilities are doubled.

Although the pack is comfortable, the zippers are lousy. I've had several handles break and when I tried to replace them the tab that holds them broke rendering the zipper unusable. They are made of pot metal. Not what you'd expect from a pack with this price tag. Save your money and look elsewhere.
Just finished my Mule Deer hunt, and this pack was great. I was worried that 2200 was going to be way to big for a day pack, I was able to fit everything that i need with room to spare. 2200 fits like a glove!!
Love the way it keeps the weight off of my shoulders. Allows me to shoulder my rifle without interferring with the shoulder straps. Carries a ton of gear. Rather pricey. Paid this much for my Alaska III pack and frame.
I just came back from a 7 day elk hunt in Colorado and used the Badlands 2200 pack for the first time.
It is very roomy and extremely comfortable and even has a separate pocket for a spotting scope.
I think that this is the best pack on the market especially for a "out west" elk/mule deer hunt. You can't go wrong with a Badlands pack and the 2200 is the best of all!!
