A good outfitter is as important as an accurate rifle, a good map or, in our estimation, a fine pair of hunting boots. Naming these boots after the guy who can make or break your hunt tells you our level of confidence in them. We haven't spared any expense in construction. Most notable is the waterproof full-grain leather from England. This rugged cowhide's remarkable durability and waterproofness is the result of a special tanning process that has yet to be matched in any other leather. Goodyear® welt construction makes resoling easy, so you can enjoy their comfort long after you've worn the first set of soles out. These boots have waterproof, breathable full GORE-TEX® linings for the highest level of moisture management available today. From the cold and snow to mild Indian Summer days, no matter what type of climate you hunt in, there's an Outfitter for you. All models have a shock-absorbing EVA midsole that soaks up the blows dished out by hard terrain so your ankles, knees and legs won't have to. A removable foam footbed covered with moisture-wicking polypropylene gives them extra cushioning and moisture-wicking power. And, the unique lace-to-toe construction helps lash them to your foot for maximum ankle support and comfort. A moisture-wicking lining pulls perspiration away from your socks and feet, and the padded collar and tongue prevent blisters that can put a painful end to an otherwise successful day of hunting.
