Eagle Claw L063 Wet/Nymph Hook

These wet fly/nymph hooks are made of high-carbon content steel with the high-tech lazer sharp process that yields sharp, smooth and strong hooks. This is the ideal hook for nymphs, longer bodied wet flies and also streamer patterns. Round bend, 2X long shank, regular wire, down eye. Per 100. Made in USA.

Used these hooks the past season , with great results. The wire is a little thicker than most import hooks, but this is an advantage when tying nymph's . This will permit you to use larger bead heads to get that fly to sink even faster. This is the hooks I will be using from now on.

Very Good Nymph Hook

Another good Eagle Claw product that is Made In The USA. I couldn't ask for more for a wet/nymph hook. This hook is advertised as a 2XL / Standard wire size hook. Comparing this one to other brands of hooks it seems to be true to size in length but the wire size seems much heavier. I'll confidently throw this hook at any Alaskan Trout or Salmon in any cover. I do not use this hook for Wolly Bugger's. It's a little short for those and the Bugger is really a Streamer anyway. For the WB I use the 3XL L058.
