I tie lots of streamers / buggars in size 10 for the steelhead runs in Erie tributaries. I've found these hooks to be strong, sharp, and very affordable.

I use this hook in size 10 for most of my streamers and all of my grasshoppers and crickets. It is small enough for bluegill and strong enough for bass, trout and catfish.

Small Streamers

I tie lots of size 12 to 14 streamers in a years time. I also have a particular tie for deep searching nymphs that this hook is great for. Eagle Claw hooks have worked well for me. I've used several brands of 3X streamer hooks, but this one performs as well for me as any.
