    I make all the flies I tie barbless. The problem you run into is either breaking the tip off your hook when you bend the barb down or damaging it to the point that it breaks the first time you set the hook on a fish. Cabela's barbless dry fly hooks solve this problem. They also save you time in tying because they eliminate the barb bending process.

    These hooks are great, barbs aren't necessary. These hook deeper, and come out MUCH easier. Get 'em!

    It is hard to get a good quality hook , in bulk and at a reasonable price. Your hooks have nice lines and are sharp.. Looking forward to see how they hold up to a big brown.
