I have at least a dozen of these and will be buying more today.
They're extremely comfortable and wear like iron.
I wear them every day during winter and even use them as light jackets on cool summer mornings.
Of all the Chamois, wools and heavy weight flannels
I've owned these have become my favorites
I highly recommend Cabela's Heavy Weight Chamois.

Cabela's has cheapened this product without notification and I am greatly disappointed.
After ordering quite a few right before Christmas, with a heavy heart I am returning them all today. They will be my last "heavyweight" chamois from Cabela's.
The old heavyweight shirts were truly heavyweight: check out item IK-901496. It was 9 ounce cotton, these are 8.7. Doesn't sound like much, but believe me it is night and day. The new "heavyweight" ought to be called "mediumweight" - there's that much of a difference.

Heavyweight chamois shirt

I use to buy these.I still own a few of the older USA made ones that are well made and are great! But these chamois from Cablea's now are like cardboard after washing .I was turning my sleeves up yesterday on one and the whole thing tore most of the sleeve off.The medium weight Cabela's chamois seem to be a beter quality well made shirt.If you like wearing cardboard these may be for you.
