Ordered this jacket since we have cold snap coming on and I needed a nice jacket for the winter. This jacket is amazing! There are pockets, you just have to snip them open (they sew them shut so they dont get disfigured during shipping). The pockets are nice and deep and warm. The lining is great so the jacket is not itchy. The jacket is very warm, protects against a cold breeze very well, and it is not heavy at all. The three buttons down the front offer good closure and fit without having to tie a strap. Length is perfect for me. LOVE LOVE LOVE this jacket.

Bought this on sale and LOVE it! Super warm (hopefully not too warm for SoCal weather!) with great styling. I bought black and am considering the red plaid as well.
One reviewer says there are no pockets, but this is not true with mine. After clipping the pocket stitching open, I found perfect pockets...they are deep, but most definitely pockets. The fabric is soft and hangs well. The buttons are sewn on tightly.
Great coat at a great price. I look forward to years of use from this attractive coat!

no pockets

Coat fits great and the color is great.....However, there are no pockets. The pockets are stitched closed and if you undo the stitching you rhands will just end up in th ecoat lining. In the pic it clearly appears that there is a real pocket and not just a fashion pocket. this was a dissappointment after paying this much for a coat. Should be included in description!
