I bought this hose to use with my big buddy heater and iove it, i use it at home as well as in my tent to get the chill off while i build a fire in my stove. the quick connect is very easy to hook up and there is no need for a fuel filter with this hose which is nice. i keep a small tank connected at first to start the heater on low with the bulk tank on as well, this will pull the air out of the hose then after a few min i shut it down and take the small tank off and then all the air is out of the line, but to purge it through the pilot orfice really doesnt take that long. if you have the big buddy heater then you need this hose!!!!

Mr. Heater 12' Quick Connect Hose

I wanted to be able to use a 30 lb LP tank with my Mr. Heater and this is just the ticket.
Since the regulator is at the tank connector end, you don't need a filter, and the quick connect to the heater requires no wrench - just push it into the heater connector.
Only thing is, it takes about 30 seconds to purge the air in the 12' line before the pilot lights up for the first time.
If you don't want to use the 1 lb LP cannisters with your heater, this is the way to go.
