Cabela's Quiet Blind Heater/Cooker

  • Ultraquiet -16 1/2db
  • 11,000 BTU
  • Can be used with bulk tank
A human whisper from 5 feet away produces 20 decibels. This extremely quiet, durable and compact blind heater produces only 16.5 decibels, about 30% less than that of a standard propane heater, so you can hear the whistling of wings, approaching game and shots in the distance. It generates 11,000 BTUs and can be used as a space heater or as a stove for a coffee pot or for cooking up a midmorning snack. It has a piezo electronic ignitor, and it can run up to 1 hour, 45 minutes on a 1-pound propane cylinder. Or, it can be used with bulk tanks with optional hose assemblies. It will run 36 hours on a 20-pound tank.
Size: 16"H x 10"W x 9-1/2"D.

Cabela's duck blind heater/cooker
Date:
I bought one of these a few years ago, mainly for ice fishing. Although it is a bit bulky, it is fairly light, and give off a nice, steady heat. I own a few other stoves, but for heating and cooking outside, while ice-fishing, this one's been hard to beat. I don't run it continually as a heater-just on and off. But this cooker/heater, along with a cast iron pan and lid, cooks meat or fish at a nice, steady temp when it's cold outside, and works well for heating up some soup or chili too. In a portable shack, it doesn't take long at all to help bring the temp up to a nicer level . I would recommend it -just keep the ceramic dry.

I use this heater to heat my boat while trolling. It is very quiet and you do not know it is on. I wish it could be set to different degrees. It is very stable and works well.

Great Value
Date:
You want to stay warm and comfortable in the fish house. This unit will do just that. Great value, works nice, and is durable. Things do get banged around going back and fourth to that favorite fishing hole.
