These are a great buy. I purchased a pair for myself and enjoyed them. I allowed my father to use them and have not seen them sense. The amplification of regular noise is impressive while shooting. The only downfall to the pair i have is the battery placement. The battery is on the inside of the muff and has a tendency to come loose because there is no cover it other than the foam of the muff.
