I bought these and wore them two times. The electronics worked well, but the left ear piece was difficult to adjust. It seemed to 'hang-up' and I had difficulty knowing if the unit was turned 'off'. The worst thing about these is the left muff hanger broke on my third use of the muffs. It's made of plastic. I see others have had this same problem. While I thought I was getting a good inexpensive pair of muffs. I wasn't. Just goes to show the old adage is true-"You get what you pay for". Do not buy this pair of muffs.
I purchased another cheaper brand that didn't last 4 weeks. I tried Dillon's and then these, to me they are identical in shape and design. However, the sensitivity is much better on the Radian's allowing you to use less volume and they costs half as much as Dillon's. I highly recommend these and I am also buying another pair. As for the breakage, any of them will break if they are too roughly handled. Mine has not broken or come loose as of yet.
I bought a set of these headsets then broke one of the chincey little plastic pieces that attache the headband to the ear muffs. There are 4 of them and they are the tie-points for the whole system (and made of plastic). The company says if there is a manufactoring defect they will replace the product but they do not fix them or supply any parts!
Stay away from this company. (Radian) I work too hard for my money to buy throw-away headphones!
Takes a little getting used to, but overall a good product. I had it set on 1 and was able to carry a conversation, while loud shooting noises were muffled out. Definitely recommend
