I didn't have any problems with the plugs forming or curing. The instructions were clear and simple, and forming was easy. However, in using these several times since making them I haven't been able to get them to seal to my ear again in a way that makes for really effective hearing protection.
They fit, but they do not seal to my ear nearly as well as nearly any other type of generic plugs I've used in the past. Given the mixed reviews, I thought I'd roll the dice on these....guess I lost this time. You can buy a truckload of cheap foam disposables for what these cost.

These earplugs are not what I expected. They took longer to cure than the instructions stated and don't fit well after the full cure time. The noise suppression is minimal and I can get a better result from the old EAR's.
Basically money wasted.

good in theory

Ear plugs did not work for me. It took about 30 min to set up. I thought I may have not gotten everything split evenly in half but both ears took a very long time to setup. Finally when I took them to the range they did not provide much noise suppression. They are useless to me now.

Good earplugs

These do a little better job of muffling than regular silicone or other good disposable earplugs. The big advantage is that they're more comfortable. I found I had to leave them in the ear for about 20 minutes before they hardened properly when first fitting them, longer than the directions indicated.
