Peltor Tactical 6 Hearing Device with Backband

Get the hearing protection you need and the sound amplification you strive for with the new Tactical 6. This unit effectively reduces hazardous noises from firearms to harmless levels within two milliseconds and suppresses any sounds over 82dB. But normal human conversation and range commands remain perfectly audible. Independent volume controls on each ear cup let you customize amplification while the stereo microphones enhance sound localization. The folding design stores easily in your shooting bag. A new backband is designed for people who wear hats. The backband eliminates interference with a hat. The unit weighs only 8.8 oz. Operates for up to 200 hours on four AAA batteries (not included).

Great Product. Works as promised. Comfortable to wear if you like to wear a hat at the range. Like the other reviews the batteries are hard to put in. Other than that no complaints.

For the price you pay for these things, I'd say hang on to your money. They dampen shotgun sounds pretty well, but the ambient sound quality with them on isn't very good. It's made of cheap plastic and you aren't able to adjust the fit of the muffs.

These work well especially when needing to wear a hat , the muffs are not real tight against the ears, and could be better.
