These muffs are slim and comfortable. When shooting pistols outdoors they offer excellent protection!
However for indoor ranges, even when used with foam earplugs, they don't have enough actual mass to be effective. Used them a couple of times and I left the range with both ears ringing. Had to go back to the bulky range-issued muffs (still with earplugs) to get enough protection.
With that one qualification, they are an inexpensive quality muff.

Good Gear for the Money

Just received these yesterday. Appears to be a quality product as you would expect from Browning. They fit nicely, have very good NRR and fold up easy. I bought a pair of Red Head Muffs for the Mrs. for the same price that were not nearly as nice.
