Stay away from p-tech
Date:
Batteries lasted about 15 minutes...Tried new batteries and same outcome. This was the 2nd p-tech that i bought. (diff. model previously)... same crummy performance.

Bright, but...
Date:
The brightness and run time listed on the packaging for this is phenomenal. I purchased one of these for a Scouting campout and halfway through my son said that it was flickering. I took a look and sure enough, it was pulsing, not showing much light. It couldn't be turned on nor off unless you popped out the batteries. I popped the rubber switch cover off (too easily done, in my opinion) and a piece of plastic popped out, which I assumed was the switch. Couldn't do anything with it after that.
The brightness was as advertised. However, the durability was less than desired. Because of the run time vs price, I will purchase another one for the next campout to test. Hopefully, it won't have the same problem.
