Petzl Tikka® 2 Headlamp

Versatile dependability in a compact and lightweight headlamp. Tikka 2's four bright LEDs produce 40 lumens of output and illuminate out to 32 yards on the maximum setting. These white LEDs have three modes; maximum (90- hour run time), economic (120-hour run time) and flashing (300-hour run time). Comfortable, adjustable headband with a tilt-adjustable lamp housing. Weighs just 2.9 oz. including batteries. Hinged battery case for easy access. Electronic push-button switch. ADAPT system lets you mount the light on clothing, a belt or pack. Uses alkaline or lithium batteries. Runs on three AAA batteries (included).

Great Headlamp!

Used my son's Tikka 2 headlamp on a recent three day camping/hiking trip on the Columbia River. It performed flawlessly for three very dark moonless nights. I used it while fixing breakfast, hiking back to camp after dark, arranging gear, and reading my book in the tent. It was just as bright the last day as the first. It casts a very bright, wide beam, is ruggedly built, reliable, and compact. It performed so well I bought a Tikka XP 2. It is awesome too! Petzel headlamps cost a bit more than some other brands but there is an obvious difference in quality. Pay a little more... you won't be disappointed.

My son sold me on a Petzl Tikka 2 Headlamp. He uses his for caving, camping, and very handy for a lot of other uses. I used it myself a bunch this past year, camping, finding my way to deer stands in the dark, and on my elk hunt last fall. I am very pleased with this model. The batteries last forever. I am still using the same batteries that came with the unit.

Hiking or hunting, this lightweight lamp is the only one you need. I own several and give them as gifts. They are dependable and the emergency flash setting will get you noticed if you are in trouble. This thing is the real deal.

I have been using Petzl headlamps for many years. Over the years these lights have held up to many forms of abuse. I recently purchased the Tikka 2 for my hunting backpack. Super bright, light weight, very durable. You wont be disappointed.
