Cabela's RGB Headlamp

Four headlamps in one! With this headlamp, you have options for red, green, blue or white light as conditions dictate. Different colors of light can be applied in different circumstances to enhance vision. Housed in the rugged, weatherproof, O-ring sealed, ABS plastic housing are six 5mm LED bulbs that you can switch from red to green or blue with the push of a button. There's also a super-bright Cree LED that throws an incredible 130-lumen white beam behind a nearly unbreakable polycarbonate lens. White light run time is 28 hours, and run time on any of the RGB settings is 40-64 hours (depending on color) on three AAA batteries (not included). You can adjust the angle of inclination to direct light where you want it, and the full-fit elastic headband adjusts as well.

This is a great headlamp. It fits very comfortably because there are no buckles constantly rubbing. The white light is extremely bright and well focused. Having three night/low light colored light options is an excellent feature as all three colors travel different distances. I agree with the other reviews commenting about the non-recessed push buttons causing inadvertent battery usage. It is a legitimate concern. However, if you're aware of it, then just store the headlamp accordingly. I keep mine stored in an Otter Box within my pack w/o any problems. I can keep extra batteries in there as well.

I like the brightness and ease of use. However, the push button is easily turned on in a pack that results in dead batteries when you want to use it. At least it uses AAA and they're easy to have on hand.

The price is right for all the features you get. But the batteries last at the most 8 hours.
