Southco Flush Latches

Used by hundreds of boat builders, these marine grade latches install simply in a 2" hole. The latches will fit door panels from 1/2" to 3/4" thick. They are a great accessory for the do-it-yourself building items with King Starboard.

low profile/ not waterproof

Great low profile latch, good looking, and easy to install but its not a waterproof latch which is a huge draw back for DRY storage boxes.

Definitely worth paying the extra money for the stainless. The original plastic latch was replaced under warranty with the same plastic and the fact is the plastic does not hold up over time.
