Too large for average fish to handle, they need a 2.5 - 3.0 inch model. A jointed rapala is a better value, don't fall for the hype!

I've gone fishing 3 times in 2010, and didnt get so much as a nibble, no matter what lures i threw. I went fishing again feb. 5th, and decided if i couldnt catch anything on my traditional teckniques, i would try some new lures. I was fishing a small lake in western washington (max depth 8ft) and started throwing the sexy swimmer after nothing else would work. On my third cast i hooked into a bass. He rolled once, and followed with a nice winter jump, thats when he tossed my sexy swimmer outta his mouth. i didnt get much else after that. In short, i really have alot of confidence in this lure, i think it's a matter of finding the proper retreival speed and depth to attract the fish. it definetly has realistic swimming action.

Be Careful. Strike King WAKE SHAD, KING SHAD and now the SEXY SHAD r all fragile, buddy exploded a KING SHAD on a rock last month. The S. SHAD Has been very successful running in shallow water 3-5 foot. First thing out of the package IT IS STIFF! the Joints stick until you use it a lot. I sprayed mine with some W-D40, loosed up the joints and now it is one of my favorites.

Poor construction

I bought this bait with hight hopes. i bought it and right away went out to the lake. I tied it on and fished with it for two hours. I had one hook up but lost it. the next day my dad was using it and landed it on a dock. the thing shattered into peices. Needs better hinges and better construction.
