I had a funny feeling about this lure when I first saw it...I had to have it. It looked like the bait fish in the lake where I fish.I went fishing the day after it arrived and proceeded to drag it around the lake for 6 hours as my Buddies laughed at me for purchasing it. I reeled it in and put a 2 ounce weight on it and within 10 minutes latched on to a monster. After a good fight we netted the biggest fish I've ever caught, a 15 lb bull trout. Then a few minutes later I caught a 5 pounder for good measure and to prove it wasn't just a fluke while my Buddies all got skunked that day. Who's laughin' now Boys? Yeah, I think this lure is EPIC as it caught me my biggest fish ever the first time I ever used it, and I'm a fishing guide and avid fisherman! GET THIS LURE< it's worth every penny & well crafted!
I waited a while to get my hands on this one. I had very good experiences with other Lucky Craft baits. I got this one (Ghost Minnow) on 11-23-07 and decided to go test it to see how it performed in the water. I did not expect to catch anything and just wanted to see how it worked. The action was very good and the movement was very similar to that of a real fish. And guess what?! 20 min of casting, on my last cast I landed a 4.5 lb. largemouth. Not huge but also not bad for a cold day in late November! My only complaint at this point is that when I went to cast it again on 11-25-07 the left front fin fell out. It did not break off (I did not hit anything hard), but fell out of its place leaving a little hole where the fin was inserted. I did not even see how it happened. At this point I am thinking that this was due to a factory flaw, because otherwise, it feels like a very strong lure. I\u2019ll see if I can get it replaced and hopefully the same accident will not happen again. But does it catch fish? For sure.
