OK, not a home run, but a tripple from Cabela's

This bait swims very well, and it is excellent in so many ways. The sink rate is good, the pin and loop type of hinge is fantastic, the colors are very good. It is also inexpensive.
It would have rated a 5 were it not for one minor fault. The rear hook tends to wrap over the tail and gets itself stuck. To fix this, remove the back hook and replace it with a 2X short shank trebble of the same size. Replacing the split ring with a smaller size, with an extra strong ring, will also help.

Best lure to hit the feather river for 2012

It's the close thing that look n swim like a real shad
Striper love it on the feather river in cali
Used the hudd swim bait got good hit but didnt last
Long before its torn up so I pull out the Real image
Color-Alewife. Off the hook is all I could say. Put it this way, my 4year old son landed 6 striper on this lure
With his transformer rod on feb 11 2012. It's way better then drifting live Minnow
