Rapala® Twitchin' Rap

  • New strike-triggering pattern
  • Balsa wood construction
  • Designed for the twitchin’ retrieve method
Balsa wood construction and that delicate Rapala wobble are the signature of the Twitchin' Rap. Perfectly weighted for longer casts and runs at a depth of 6" dropping to 2 ft. Slow-sinking in freshwater for a struggling, wounded minnow action. Near neutral buoyancy in saltwater allows it to suspend like baitfish in the water column. Perfect for shallow backwater flats and over the tops of emerging weedbeds. Lifelike painted eye. VMC® hooks. Per each.
Size: 3-1/8", 3/8 oz.
Colors: (589)Olive Flash, (586)Golden Flash, (587)Silver Flash, (590)Hot Olive).

Deadly on Large Trout
Date:
This lure is deadly in moderate to slow moving water that contains large trout. Great action and hold on!

Perfect cold water lure
Date:
Subtle action and slow sinking sinking when paused. Pike and bass hammer this in early spring.

Does not suspend
Date:
Problem one; these lures do not suspend. I baught 4 and every one of them sink. Problem two; very cheaply made. I used them for less than 4 hours and their paint was rubbing off on the rocks (rocks they were hitting and getting snagged on because they would not suspend}. Dont waste your money.

Inshore salt water fishing
Date:
Every Rapala lure I ever owned has looked great, been well balanced, and well made. This one is no exception. I use it for spotted seatrout (weakfish) and redfish.
