Rod Butt Protection

These caps are great for protecting the nice engraved butt sections on my rods especially when I'm stringing the rod. The only problems are that they are not large enough for some of my rods. I think if they came in a few sizes, like small, medium, and large, they would work on many more rods.

Rubber Fly Rod Butt Caps

I bought my wife a Cabela's SLi fly rod. She loves it; the butt cap has the lenght and line weight etched on it. I saw her with the rod butt resting on the ground. There is still most of the etching left so I got these rubber butt caps. I put them on all my rods. I feel good now. They look good and stop unnessary wear and tear on a vulnerable area. They also feel like a small fighting butt.
