Works w/ fresh water rods too

I use these butt caps for Gold Label medium and ultralight spinning rods, they add protection as well as a counterbalance.

Rubber butt caps

Bought one last year because the cork on the end of one of my rods was chipping, I like it so much I bought them for each of my rods. I fish light tackle for halibut and they make it much more comfortable to fight a large fish for any length of time.

I USE THESE FOR MY SHOOTING REST FEET. THEY WORK AWSOME AND LAST LONGER THAN THE STANDARD ONES THAT CAME WITH MY REST.
