Rosewood glow

A good friend received a 2 piece bamboo rod that belonged to a family member. It was in poor shape..but someone wisely had slathered it with coat after coat of clear shellac which saved the rods during its fifty plus years of military travels. I selected this reel seat to bring the rod up to date, as this was to be a fishable rod not a wall hanger. Tears came to my friends eyes at seeing the completed restoration, followed by hoops and hollers when we were able to travel to Bennett Springs in Missouri the same weekend to wet a line. The "Boo" is back in action as it should be...
