I have used a lot of cork rings in the past, and these are not the worst I have used. These do have some voids in them but very rarely do you get any that are void free.

Poor Quality Cork

This is horrible quality cork. It's full of checks and voids. I have built hundreds of rods and used tons of cork, and this is some of the worst I have seen. It's basically economy quality at twice the price...look elsewhere. THIS IS NOT EXTRA SELECT CORK!

I have ordered cork from Cabelas many times before and allways been happy with it, but this last order was a dissapointment, it was darker then cork ring I have recieved in the past and it seemed to be of a lesser grade.
