Quality cork grips at great prices!
    Date:
I have baught several of these cork grips from Cabelas before, and I have never been dissappointed. The quality is not quite the same as REC or Struble AAAA cork, but it is still fairly high quality, and the price just cannot be beat. I just wish there was a shorter western grip and a full wells with a recessed hood. Otherwise, I would reccommend these grips to any rod builder.

    Cork/Composite grips-full wells
    Date:
The finish is great. I like the custom look, and the front end
is defiinately more durable than normal. The composite material
takes a bit more patience with the reamer, but it fits really
well and feels great when casting.

    Fenwick style cork grip
    Date:
The Fenwick style cork grip is a great choice for a flush mount downlocking reel seat. I chose this inexpensive grip for a very expensive 6wt rod blank. It is perfect (as perfect as cork can get these days). It is not flor grade but compared to some flor grade handles that I have paid three times as much for, it is a steal! There was hardly any filler. Not to mention it is also very comfortable.
