By replacing costly brass cases and copper jackets with aluminum and nylon, USA-made Herter’s aluminum-case handgun ammunition keeps cost down while preserving clean-shooting reliability and accuracy. Sized to incredibly precise tolerances, the nonreloadable, aircraft-grade aluminum cases cycle smoothly. Premium-quality, 165-grain flat-nose lead bullets are coated with a Total Nylon Jacket (TNJ) to replace expensive copper jackets. TNJ bullets are inherently accurate, and cycle fluidly through semiautomatics. As an added benefit, TNJ bullets eliminate hard-to-remove copper and lead fouling. Made in USA.

Great for practice

I have been using this ammo for the past few months. Worked perfectlly 100% of the time. Plus all I do is shoot at the range, so this is perfect. Its a little cheaper in cost, but cleaning up is way better than the rest. Why?

There's no lead! after 300 rounds, there was VERY little to NO residue in the barrel. For me, this is my "#1" bullet to use at the range.

Plus, its a little bit lighter to carry VS full metal jacket bullets.

Great ammo, clean and accurate

I decided to give the total nylon jacket bullet a try. Why not, Federal has their Nyclad ammo.

This ammo was exceptionally clean and accurate.

11 rounds through a 4.5" barrel in one gun produced an average FPS of 1,036.09 and a standard deviation of 11.36. A second gun with a 4.5" barrel, using 13 rounds, gave 1,085.38 FPS on average and only 9.90 standard deviation. Very impressive. Less deviation than most of my hand loads.

Two hundred rounds through two guns, very little powder residue and no nylon or blue left in any of my barrels. Don't be scared.
