The Enhanced Penetration Round (EPR) was engineered for applications where greater penetration is a must. The EPR has greater terminal success when fired through glass or wood. This round has the ability to penetrate heavy skin and dense bone and then fragment once inside the softer tissue of the target. It also fragments on any surface that would cause a lead bullet to ricochet. The deep penetrating characteristics of the EPR make it ideal for street-duty officers and anyone needing a reliable self-defense round. Per 20.

I bought 2 boxes of these about a month ago - and cycled them through my Sig Pro without any issues. I bought a new clip - and at first these were tight to get in, but I still didn't have any issues with jams or failures to cycle. I liked the punch these rounds had when I fired them - and at 10-15 yards - they did the job. As the other reviews above read - buy a box and make sure it cycles through your weapon before you entrust it to your life! I also read that this company no longer exists - so, you might want to get a few boxes of this before it's too late.

Wanted to use the air-freedom version for apartment defense (drywall, neighbors, you understand the reason)
however if you do, BE sure to function test this stuff!!!
19 of the 20 45acp rounds would not feed into my USP tacitical. Turns out the rounds wont feed far enough to allow the breach to close. Not sure if its the brass or the round...
To be sure it wasnt my pistol, I checked with the range, they were kind enough to pull the barrels out of a 1911 and another HK to check the round. Sure enough, doesnt fit into there breachs either...
As such I suggest people stay away from any ammo this company makes. or at the least check all rounds for fit and form, and many for function!

I bought a box and attempted to run it through my XDM-9. It jammed after about 30 rounds and was the first and only jam I've had. I've used Magtech, Winchester and American Eagle with far better results.
