COR®BON prides itself on producing premium ammunition for defensive firing. In research and development, CORBON takes real-life firing situations into consideration, such as shooting in a home or in crowded areas. These loads have lowered muzzle flash by using suppressants, so you can shoot in low-light conditions or the dark without giving away your location. These bullets are skived with small grooves to give a uniformed and symetrical expansion. Test results have confirmed that CORBON's bullets retain a higher percentage of original bullet weight and reduce fragmentation, so more of the bullet hits and stays in the target. These bullets are loaded to higher velocities than standard loads to deliver maximum energy.

9mm performance

Cycled flawlessly thru my Springfield XDM and was one of the hotter factory loads I have shot.
Shot into a 5 gallon bucket of a
Water at 25 feet with a little disappointing results. The jacket and core separated (only found a couple pieces of the jacket). The lead core was mushroomed and made it entirely thru the bucket.
Still good ammo but prefer Winchester PDX, Speer gold dot and Hornady Zombie Max which had better weight retention and controlled expansion.

I'm in law enforcement and will carry this ammo in my off duty gun. It is very high velocity and will break up inside target. This is a very good thing because you get multiple wound channels ! I would stake my life on this ammunition! Go out and shoot some gallon milk jugs and see for yourself.

Great ratings on the product and great price! Ordered 3 boxes. 8 duds out of the first 20 while testing for self-defense load function. Firing pin strikes were dead center in the primer. I was able to refire 2 but these, however, that doesn't cut it for the intended purpose. These have just been demoted to "practice" ammo. Remington GS +P and Hornady TAP are back as my standard "carry" ammo.....
