Cobra Sling scratches your foreend

I purchased this sling for my new Winchester Model 70 Featherweight Ultra in .30-06.
The leather is not the highest grade but I figured with some time, use and oil/dirt the sling would break in just fine.
After only two days of hunting this fall the brass screw head which holds the fore-end of the sling to the swivel started to scratch the wood on my rifle. I eventually had to wrap the screw in duct tape to limit the damage.
If you hold your sling close to your rifle while walking I would recommend you look for another product.

Nice quality,the over all lenght could be longer,but worked for me.I am 5'7" and someone over 6' might need a longer sling??

I really like this sling. The classic leather look with the Winchester logo looks great on my model 94. Good quality leather, good workmanship.

Too cheap and light weight. Look for heavier, better quality. Cheap price is not the main thing we are looking for. I think you could also find more logo brand name products. Browning seems to make the most with their name on it but you need other brands; Sako, Winchester, Bushmaster, DPMS, Kimber, Walther, Ruger, Remington, etc
