Uncle Mike's Sling Swivel Base

Attach a sling to your rifle's wood stock for easy carrying on long-distance hunts. This set includes two wood screw mounts. A 1/2" wood screw base mounts in the fore and a 3/4" wood screw base mounts in the rear. Both have white spacers. The mounts accommodate most slings with quick-release swivels.

Just the Thing to Mount up a Sling!

What can I say? They're sturdy and work well. You may want to put a little epoxy in the hole you drill in the stock so they stay on forever.

I bought these to try them on a synthetic stocked rifle, and they work great. I was going to epoxy the threads into the stock, but they seem so tight, I don't think I will need to. I am buying a couple more sets for some of my rim-fire rifles. Thanks Cabelas!
