I have a lever action 30-30 Marlin and wanted to put a sling on it. Cabela's made that easy by having the lever action sling swivels that I needed. they were easy to mount and I had them on in less then 20 minutes. Good job Cabela's.

A good product. You must do a partial dissembly of the rifle, ie: remove the magazine tube. And drill a hole in your stock. Not a complicated task but one that does require some care to prevent scratching the mag tube or barrel, as well as ensuring the final fit and finish is "very nice". It took me about 90 minutes to do the installation because I took the opportunity to do a detailed cleaning since I had it apart. If you just want to install it and be done allow yourself an hour to be comfortable. I didn't mind the time, messing around with my guns is a past-time. I'm not into reality shows and the majority of junk on TV.
Again, a good quality product and a "very nice" product after careful installation. Thrilled to have a sling on my rifle! :)
