I bought this sling for my Mossberg 500 12-ga as an all round carry sling. I intend to carry my 12-ga while out in the brush building fences this summer; as of now I have only tested it around my family property.
The Pros: Heavy Duty, Comfortable, Ergonomic (the hand-grip is fantastic); I do not even know my 9-10 pound 12-ga is on my shoulder.
The Cons: A bit unwieldy when taking off shoulder and preparing to fire; the heavy-duty rubber pad and hand grip make sure you know its there. Buying this sling, you know it is going to be heavy but comfortable; I am not detracting any stars as it is not the fault of the product.
Of note, be careful adjusting the screws on the swivels; their threads are quite fine. As of yet I have not had a problem, but the potential is there if you don't pay attention.

I purchased this sling for my new Nosler TGR and was seeking a quality product for packing my rifle on long hunts over rough terrain. The sling is comfortable, doesn't slip, and looks great. The workmanship is top-notch and I like the swivels. The Limbsaver trim material around the leather keeps it glued to your shoulder. Only gave it four stars because it is a tad on the heavy side compared to other brands. Great product overall.
