Remington Magazine Tube Cap and Swivel Stud with Sling

Quickly and easily converts any Remington 12- or 16-gauge model 870, 1100 or 11-87 for sling attachment. Universal magazine cap with swivel stud replaces your existing magazine cap. Rear swivel stud simply screws into place after minor drilling. Sling measures 39" and is constructed of rugged Mil-Spec webbing with brass hardware. 1-1/4" wide sling sports a one-hand length-adjustment buckle and thumb loop for reduced fatigue.

This came quickly and screwed on just like described. The sling is the kind I thought it was and adjusts quickly and easily. The directions to drill the stock worked great no problems. I like the etched remington in the sling.

Incorrect instructions and sling too short.

Do Not Buy! This would be a good purchase if not for two issues. First, the instructions are incorrect and say to use a 7/32 drill for the wood stock but it is the 5/32 you need for a wood stock and 7/32 for the plastic stock. My bad for not doing a test I guess but expect to bring this product back to Cabela\u2019s for a refund and also see about replacing my stock. Second, as others have mentioned, this sling is short on an 870 and you can barely get it over your shoulder and still have room to move it around.

couldn't have been easier to install. greatly improves the utility of my 870. still can't figure out why remington doesn't make these things standard from the factory
