Nice Safe and Pistol Lock Box!

Received this for X-mas and I can't find anything negative about this Box. I use it to lock up 2-of my pistols along with 3-mags each and there's room to spare for other items a person wants to keep locked up or safe. I don't have it bolted down to anything so I can't speak for that feature.

For the name and construction, just what I needed!

Really surprised the overall quality. I couldn't pass up the deal. No problem fitting an 1851 Colt army .44 cal. Tin of .451 round ball
and an 1873 with 50 rd. plastic round box with lots room to spare

I purchased this item on sale, and even at the regular price, it's a good value compared to other options. It's pretty sturdy, and while it's obviously not as secure as a heavy duty vault, it's great for my purposes -- to secure my handgun, extra magazines & ammo when the grandchildren are visiting or when I'm away from home. At night, I leave the door unlocked for quick access. There are bolt holes on all sides for flexibility in mounting (hardware is included) -- I currently have mine bolted to a shelf in the closet, but I'm also thinking about perhaps mounting it to the underside of our bed.

Poor Quality

Ordered two online and when they arrived I was VERY unsatisfied and returned them. They are made from thin steel and have an extremely cheap hinge on the OUTSIDE making it very easy to break into. Also the fit was terrible as the doors did not close easily as they did not line up well because of the poor hinge. I would NOT recommend this to anyone.
