Your guns and valuables are safely locked away in a Stack-On Gun Cabinet. A superior three-point key-operated locking system secures the unit. The doors use full-length welded and staked piano hinges. Its exterior has a durable baked-epoxy finish in hunter green. Fastening hardware and pre-drilled holes facilitate mounting. The gun storage side of the 16-Gun Double-Door Cabinet has foam padding on the sides and bottom. The cabinet section sports four removable, padded steel shelves. Includes barrel rests that replace shelves for storing an additional 15 guns.
Measures: 55"H x 38"W x 18"D.
Weight: Approximately 152 lbs.

After reading the glowing reviews on this I just expected too much. This is the third Stack-On product I have bought starting about 13 years ago. The other two are better in design, build quality, and security. I wanted a lightweight gun lockup but I know now that I will have to get a real gun safe to meet my needs regardless of the weight. Cabelas, being exceedingly customer friendly, were glad to accept a return. Good people!

Nice bang for the buck

Shipping was quoted as 3-5 weeks. Item arrived at my door 8 days after order was placed. The packaging was in perfect condition. The quality of this safe is top notch. If you are looking for a quality safe to keep unwanted fingers off your guns/ammo this safe is perfect. The only thing I added to this safe was a lockable key holder which i bolted to the door. This ensures i always have quick acces to the safe without having to worry about someone else finding the keys. This was my first order from Cabelas but I think there will be more to come.

I ordered the 16 gun cabinet expecting to get a box of pieces for assembly. The unit arrived in one piece with minimal assembly required. It took less than one hour to get it positioned, configured and installed. Be careful though! It\u2019s not light and if you are trying to install it yourself you are going to go through some choice words trying to move it around. The construction is great and the capacity is excellent. This is typical of what I get from Cabelas. Quality equipment, delivered on time and at a great price.

For a gun cabinet, this one is very nice.

I have been looking for a while for a gun cabinet that would do what I needed it to do. I was going to order 2 of the smaller ones so I could have one for my handguns, ammo, and other accessories and the other for my long guns. I don't need to with this cabinet. When you lock the doors, there are 3 points of contact; top, middle, and bottom which will make it very difficult to get into. For the price and quality, I have already recommended this to friends and family. And like some of the others, the shipping was WAY shorter than advertised. That was less than 2 weeks. The ONLY thing I do not like is the fact that each door takes a different key to unlock but they do give you the key code and 2 keys for each side.
