This is a gun safe necessity in the deep south with the high humidity so prevalent. Ease of installation was a plus with my ability to attach the cord to the plug in after insertion through the safe wall. Contents of safe are secure and protected.

You will not go wrong with this dehumidifier. My gun safe is warm and dry. Here in Hawaii rust is a serious problem, but now there is no chance for rust to develop. I highly recommend this product
