This fine old rifle is in good condition considering it was manufactured Circa 1884. The metal has turned to brown patina and the wood condition shows its age but there are no major cracks or flaws. The action is smooth, complete with dust cover and the lever linkage is tight. The bore is dark and rough but retains a good amount of rifling. This gun has a couple of unique features, first is a "Rocky Mountain" front sight which used a blade of ivory, this sight was offered for 40 years as a special order and second is the set trigger.
