This Merkel 140 CAB .470 Nitro Express Double Rifle has a 23.6 inch solid rib with quarter rib barrel with rear folding leaf Express sights, set for 50 and 100 meters and front ramped blade front sight which has a brass bead. There is some scroll engraving on the boxlock receiver, trigger guard, and nickel grip cap. Has upgraded wood with a substantially nicer finish than standard; stock is in Monte Carlo style and has a checkered pistol grip, the fore end is splinter style and checkered. To tame the recoil of the express calibers, they're fitted with mercury recoil reducers and a black Pachmayr Decellerator recoil pad. This is a new gun. LOP: 14 3/4"; 10lbs. 14 oz.
