This Army & Navy Rook Rifle is chambered for the .360 No. 5 Rook cartridge (cartridge introduced between 1875 and 1880). Rifle has a 28 inch octagon barrel with folding leaf rear sight marked for 50, 100, and 150 meters and has low profile front sight. Receiver shows some fine scroll engraving and states "Army & Navy C.S.L. London" on the left side. The barrel and receiver are in good shape without any signs of pitting, the bore is in good shape and shows fair rifling. Gun has a nicely figured checkered walnut stock with pistol grip, ebony fore end tip, and metal butt plate. The stock is in very good shape with just few handling marks.
