Barrel(s): 26" round, heavy barrel.
Weight: 8 lbs. 13 oz.
Sights/Scope: Posted dot blade sight on a 7/8" wide, flat, adjustable platform.
Trigger(s): Blued.
Stock: Highly grained, dark colored, checkered Prince of Wales, pistol grip with a triangular, ebony, grip insert.
Stock Dimensions: LOP: 12 13/16".
Fore End: DeLuxe checkered fore end with a steel, case colored, fore end cap.
Butt/Pad: Original, rubber, shotgun recoil pad with spacer.
Metal Condition: Receiver, hammer, and lever are case colored with 85% color coverage, though somewhat faded, remaining. No rust, no pitting. Original dark case coloring is still visible next to the hammer.
Wood Condition: Original finish with very few flaws.
Bore Condition: Bright and polished.
Manufacture Date: 1892.
Extras: Rear sight is of African configuration with two flip-up leafs and a single standing leaf.

This is a mechanically excellent, unusual and marvelous Winchester collector's piece. The rifle barrel carries the inscription: "Sighted and Regulated by Holland & Holland, 98 New Bond Street, London, W." and the barrel, and receiver, carry the British London Provisional, View, and Definitive Nitro Proofmark marks required of the .500.
