This gun has gone through some changes. The original 5 1/2 inch barrel has been shortened to its current length. Some light file marks are on the back of the grip frame, where the grips apparently were shaped on the gun. The front sight has been filed down. The blue is worn, but there are still areas of blue left. Overall, the metal has a few light scratches near the feed port, and the patina partially exists. It is a decent value for a nice, early gun. The August 1, 1988, Colt factory letter has been folded, torn and slightly crumpled by being stored with the pistol.
