    • This Colt 1903 Pocket Hammer is chambered in .38 Rimless Smokeless, better known as .38 ACP (Be careful not to mix up with .38 Super). The Pocket Hammer model is a shorter barrel version of the earlier 1902 Sporting automatic. The barrel on this pistol measures 4 1/2" versus the 6" of the Sporting. This pistol is in very good condition. The gun retains most of its high polish bluing and the hammer retains strong case colors on the left side. There are some pitting around the butt, front strap, and the muzzle. There are a few scratches around the link pin. The grips have no chips or cracks and are not heavily worn. The bore is good.
