Not just your standard Merkel 140 with ejectors, these Merkel 140 Cab rifles are a Cabela's exclusive. They feature upgraded wood with a substantially nicer finish than standard and a handsome nickel grip cap. Our special edition features an express rear sight with one standing leaf and two folding leaves on its quarter rib. And to tame the recoil of the express calibers, they're fitted with mercury recoil reducers and a black Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. This German made Merkel 140 Cab rifle is chambered in the popular .500 Nitro Express, it has richly blued 23 5/8" barrels and the express sights are set for 50 and 100 meters, while the front sight is matted and ramped with blade and brass bead. And yes, they come with ejectors! There is scroll engraving found on the receiver, top snap, trigger guard, fore-end iron and latch, and grip cap. The stock and fore-end are nicely figured walnut. The buttstock features a checkered pistol grip with a cheekpiece, and as mention before includes a grip cap, mercury recoil reducer and a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad to help tame the kick of the powerful round. The fore end is a checkered splinter style. The rifle also has sling swivels mounted on the barrels and buttstock. This rifle is new in the box and includes all paperwork.
