With a tough 1,000-denier Cordura® shell and a high-density foam liner, the Trailmax™ Scabbard completely encloses your scoped rifle, reliably guarding it from foul weather and the harshest riding conditions. Zip-open top sports a sturdy Fastex® buckle for additional convenience and security. Extra-long tether straps easily secure scabbard to any saddle. Exterior pocket stores extra ammunition or other necessities. Includes a gun drying cloth stored compactly inside the scabbard flap.

Great scabbard!

I used this scabbard on an elk hunt in Colorado last month and it was great. I hunt with a .300 Wincheter Mag with a Leupold 3.5x14-50mm scope. At first it was a very tight fit. But I took the scabbard and pressed on the edges to make the opening bigger all the way up and down the scabbard. Once I did that, then the rifle and scope would slide in the scabbard with no problems. The scabbard kept my rifle dry and clean even in the snow, rain, and mud.

Well worth the money.

Recently returned from a mule deer hunt in southeastern oregon. with the weather varying from 88 degrees when we first arrived and dusty. To 32 degrees and snow and mud. The scabbard accomidated my .300RUM with 50mm leupold VX-L well and keep the elements out of the action and optics. Everyone in camp liked my new scabbard and i know at least 3-4 more should have been bought after our return home.

great scabard but too small

great scabbard buy my .243 ruger ranch rifle & BDC nikon scope wouldn't ft in it. i guess wtyhout the scope it would work OK.
