The handsome, streamlined styling on our rugged scabbard is handcrafted from 12-14-oz. vegetable-tanned skirting leather. The unique flap over the action and scope locks the rifle securely in place. It provides excellent protection for scoped rifles yet allows quick access to your gun. Includes saddle straps. Fits up to 26" barrel. Made in USA.

This is a excellent product for the money. It is made of a tough, thick leather that should stand years of abuse. Oil it up really well before heading out and I'm sure you'll be as happy with your's as I was with mine. My wife drew a premium elk tag and it was used daily on a week long hunt with lots of abuse and it came home in excellent shape. I liked that it was big enough to hold a scoped rifle snuggly but not so tight that you couldn't get the rifle out quickly. Excellent snap enclosure as well.

Well made, fits the rifle well, but is unlined. May damage the riflr finish. Sent it back for that reson only.

I recently returned from a elk hunt on horseback and had chosen to use Cabela's Deluxe Rifle Scabbard to protect my Tikka T3 topped with a Buckmaster scope. The rifle did not fit in the scabbard the way it should have - the scoped gun was slightly too big for the scabbard space available. Closing the flap was near impossible and the stress on the closing button eventually caused it to break and pull right out of the leather therefore rendering it useless. Very dissapointed!

Leather seems to be of good quality, stitching well done. Durability has yet to be tested. Will know in a couple of years.
