Great folding case!
Date:
I have not tested the floating ability of the case (fortunately I guess) but it is well made and the folding up feature is very nice. I like to fold up the case and either use it as a seat cushion in the blind or fold it and easily store it in the corner of the blind. No more tripping over loose gun cases in the blind :)
I will agree though with other reviewers... be aware of what you are buying. In order for this case to be foldable, there are gaps at a few points down the case. So I guess potentially your gun could be damaged if it got hit in one of those gaps but it would have to be a massive hit or drop in my opinion. The gaps also do make it slightly more difficult to slide the gun in every once in a while. But in my opinion, I definitely don't get frustrated enough getting my gun in that I would take a star away or not use the case.
Overall, it is a great case with a wonderful folding option.

Overall good, but does not close well
Date:
I have used this case over the past three years and ealry last season, the velco began to separate from the case. Additionaly the velco is barely able to "catch" and therefore the wrap around binding is the only thing securing the gun. More than once it too failed and the gun (SBE II) came out
I really like the folding of the case, as it has on more than one occaision been used as an additioanl cushion. However it requires that the case be straight down or at least on a substantial angle in order to get the gun in. This is especially true when an extended choke is used and the ridges interfere with a smooth entry into the case.

Float Bag
Date:
The material of the bag seems to be rugged and its sized well for most of my shotguns. The folding feature is great for storing it while hunting so it doesnt get muddy laying somewhere. A small improvement could be the method of closing the bag. Its somewhat tough, especially if you have gloves on. Overall, good bag for the price. (I havent tested it in the water yet, which is a good thing!)
